{"id":3008,"date":"2019-03-13T17:08:16","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T17:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taubman.org.uk\/family\/wp\/?p=3008"},"modified":"2019-03-13T17:22:15","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T17:22:15","slug":"recording-dna-matches-in-family-historian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.taubman.org.uk\/family\/wp\/2019\/03\/13\/recording-dna-matches-in-family-historian\/","title":{"rendered":"Recording DNA Matches in Family Historian"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since receiving our DNA results a week or so ago,  we have been having a lot of luck confirming several lines and extending our tree down to some of the matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are using both Ancestry and GedMatch to contact people and gather information,  so I wanted to record those people and their contact details with in Family Historian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this end I have created a custom Event called GedMatch.
