SUSAN Mullins of 88 South Street, Crewkerne, has died at Crewkerne Hospital, aged 99.
Mrs Mullins was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Light and came with them to Crewkerne in 1918 to take over the Crown Hotel in South Street. She married Arthur Mullins of Evershot in 1919, and in 1939 they took over the Railway Tavern, Crewkerne, where they lived for 20 years. After Arthurs death she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Eric Bowditch. The funeral took place at the Parish Church, Crewkerne. The service was conducted by the Rev P Curtis and the organist was Dr Timothy Taylor.
