  Notes	In the New Zealand Directory of 1878 and in 1887-8 Robert's address was listed as Owaka, Otago. In the 1884 list of Freeholders he was listed as 'Robert Scadden, Owaka, Labourer, Clutha County, 3 acres. According to newspaper report in the 'Clutha Leader', 23 July 1962, he was working on his father's farm. Mary came from Invercargill. Went to USA with brother, Walter and his new bride. Returned to New Zealand in 1911 and 1948 to fill Latter Day Saints Missions In USA. Survived by three sons, five daughters, 26 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren [1]
